What is a Chef’s Express Cooking-Class experience?

Chef’s Express isn’t about recipes, (though we do use ‘em), it’s about: Fun, Artistry, Flavor & Technique.

Learn about Cooking with other class-mates in a fun & hands-on way.

Led by a professional chef/instructor/ comedian.  This isn’t “cooking school” so no “yelling” – focus is teaching how to make amazing tasting food in an understandable, healthy, hilarious and memorable way.

Each Class will have a “Theme”……Ethnic; Ingredient and / or Cooking Technique….choose a Class thats suits your interest!

Fun Cooking / Team-Building at your Corporate Location!

  • Everyone participates in creating great meals –  after demonstrating relevant techniques, you’ll all practice them while preparing the menu’d meals.
  • Competitive Corporate/Team Building Classes where you’ll cook and compete with each other!
  • These classes can have up to 20 people.
  • Classes typically have 3 prime-recipes, (some will have sub-recipes), and run about 3 ½ hours.
  • There’s also a “Dessert” recipe to take home.

Private Classes at YOUR location whenever you want, (we have a location too).

  • We’ll supply all the Tools, Food & the “Laughs” – a little Wine, (on the House)!!
  • Bringing your own “Group”!
    • You’ll be: Standing, Cooking, Tasting & Sipping and Laughing….for about 3 hours…..Sooo:
      • Wear comfortable, safe shoes
      • Wear comfortable clothes that won’t drift into open-flame
      • Don’t forget to tie your (long) hair back.
  • Take Home what you don’t eat and your FREE $10.00 gift certificate for any future purchase!
  • Everyone gets Copies of the Class Syllabus and recipes.

Bring your own “Adult Beverage” if you please – We’ll bring some complimentary Wine as well!

What will the Chef do??

  • Chef will Demonstration techniques.
  • Chef will explain the “Whys” and “How” of the Dish(es).
  • Chef will select the 3-4 dishes in the Class based on the “Theme” for the evening.
  • Chef will supply all the tools & ingredients as well as disposable Plates / Flatware.
  • Chef will ENTERTAIN you as best He / She can within the confine of “good taste”.
  • Class size is limited to 20 people.

All classes are for adults, (21+) but “Kids Classes” and be Special-Ordered! (Just contact us via email and we’ll reach out to you to create the Event.

What if I have a food allergy?

  • PLEASE tell us, (when signing up), of any allergies. We’ll make sure you’re not exposed and ,when possible, provide suitable substitute ingredients.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                Here’s a List of the generally accepted “food allergens”: 
  • Milk.
  • Eggs.
  • Fish (e.g., bass, flounder, cod)
  • Crustacean shellfish (e.g. crab, lobster, shrimp)
  • Tree nuts (e.g., almonds, walnuts, pecans)
  • Peanuts.
  • Wheat.
  • Soybeans.
 
  • It’s OK to let us know if you are “averse” to other foods as well – we’ll accommodate as much as is practical.
    • The environment may NOT be conducive to those who may react at a highly sensitive level.
